If you love your Kombi but just seem to get the performance you want then maybe it is time to get some Subaru power in the rear to help it along. Here at Custom Vee Dub we offer a complete drive in / drive out service for your Bay window kombi.

You basically drive in with your old air cooled VW engine, or get it towed if your aircooled motor is already dead  and you get a 2.2 L SOHC Subaru engine in the back, fully approved, better fuel economy, heaps more power and good for around 500 000 km's.

Engines that are used are Australian Spec EJ 22's from Liberties. The engines are inspected, tested and come with a 3 mth 10 000 km warranty. We also fit new cam belts, idler bearings, water pump, leads, plugs, oil filter, air filter and new oil.

Radiators are mounted underneath the bus in a custom cradle. This solution has been thoroughly  tested and cool very well. Better still you can't even tell they are under there without looking pretty hard.
